HALLOWEEN SURPRISE! In the early 2000s I played drums for Steve Reverb and the Sound-Tones, a surf/cowpunk/rockabilly band in Central Illinois. I have discovered the only known recording of Reverb live in Bloomington, Illinois in 2004, have remastered it from the source tape, and have it heading to streaming platforms on October 31st under the title Tiki Run. Pre-orders are open now on Bandcamp. Of all the music projects I played out with, Reverb was the most fun, and I am thrilled to present us in our purest form with this album. A loud, rowdy snapshot of a hungry band having a great time. Pre-order now. I still have a few copies of our self-titled studio album available HERE as well. That one is on streaming platforms and Bandcamp now.
Tiki Run will mark the third album this year on my Reverend Releasing label, which also includes the latest Phantom Lightkeeper record and the first collection of my uncle Rudy Strasser’s polka music. I am tremendously excited to keep things growing on that front, and appreciate your continued support.
