Arrow Video continues to give new life to historical Reverend Entertainment special features with two new UK (region B) Blu-ray releases of KILLER PARTY and Oliver Stone’s THE HAND. Both have all the bonus material I did for earlier Shout Factory discs as well as some new stuff, making them worth the double dip for anyone in the UK or who has an all-region disc player. KILLER PARTY is available now via the good people at OrbitDVD (HERE), and pre-orders are open for THE HAND (street date Jan 25, 2027) HERE. Details below.

KILLER PARTY

SYNOPSIS
BY THE END OF THE DANCE YOU’LL BE DEAD ON YOUR FEET!
William Fruet, the director of Canuxploitation classics The House by the Lake, Spasms, and Funeral Home, cordially invites you to a party to die for! The sisters of Sigma Alpha Pi are throwing an April Fool’s party and they’ve found the perfect place to hold it: the abandoned fraternity house where a pledge once lost his head in a hazing ritual gone horribly wrong. Partying turns to panic when it transpires that the dead pledge had a penchant for occult practices and his evil spirit returns to wreak its revenge. With a script by Barney Cohen (Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter), and a cast that includes cult icon Paul Bartel (Piranha, Eating Raoul), Killer Party is an underrated slasher classic that deserves a place on the shelves of any 80s horror fan!

THE HAND

SYNOPSIS
IT HAS NO BRAIN, BUT IT CAN THINK. IT HAS NO SOUL, BUT IT CAN LIVE FOREVER. IT STRIKES WITHOUT WARNING.
A compelling tale of an artist struggling with his sanity after losing his limb, The Hand is a savvy and chilling mix of interpersonal drama, thriller and supernatural horror. Comic book illustrator John Landsdale’s (Michael Caine, Mona Lisa) whole existence begins to unravel after he tragically loses his right hand in a road accident. His attempts to adjust to life withoutdrawing prove difficult, and his already tense relationship with his wife Anne (Andrea Marcovicci, The Stuff) takes a turn for the worse. John’s frustration turns to anger and contempt at those around him, threatening to consume his body and psyche. But soon his mind becomes plagued with chilling visions of his disembodied hand committing horrific acts of violence, and one by one anyone who crosses him is mysteriously found dead… Written and directed by Oliver Stone, with gripping performances and special effects courtesy of E.T. creator Carlo Rambaldi, The Hand is an 80s horror gem ripe for rediscovery.
