With Rue Morgue’s unveiling of the cover and contents of this year’s Halloween issue (#220), I am excited to announce a special milestone in my career. What began with me doing features in Fangoria blossomed into me appearing in the pages of genre newsstand heavyweights Famous Monsters of Filmland, Horrorhound, Delirium, and Scream, but the one major horror magazine that has eluded me all these years has been Rue Morgue. I love Rue, was an early subscriber, and their Halloween issue is always a must-buy, so it is with tremendous excitement I can finally share that my first contributions to the storied Canadian periodcal will land in this Sept/Oct issue. The piece I am part of is “50 Vilest Villains” in which I cover two of cinema’s sinister madmen. It is an honor to finally cross Rue Morgue off my wish list, and I am excited to continue the relationship in future issues.
