I have been writing for TVGuide’s Remind Magazine for five years now, an adventure that started in 2021 when they rasked me to step in as guest editor of that October’s issue. With the support of the wonderful Remind team, I turned that month’s magazine into an all-HALLOWEEN franchise affair, enlisting the talents of many of my favorite journalists, pulling in fresh interviews, and packing it with lots of fun sidebar elements relating to the world of Michael Myers. Soon thereafter I started my monthly column Roadside Memories on shuttered amusement parks and roadside oddities, which continues to this day. In 2025 I also released a book compiling the first 27 column entries with added material not in the original pages of Remind. I love the magazine. It offers an old-school newsstand experience in content and even with how it feels in your hands, and I am excited to announce I am going to start doing more feature writing in addition to the monthly Roadside Memories pieces from this point forward.

What IS Remind Magazine?
The past is a blast! Every month I have a column in TVGuide’s ReMIND magazine called “Roadside Memories” that focuses on shuttered amusement parks and tourist traps chronicling those precious places that have provided generations with unforgettable travel stops. Every few years I also have the honor of stepping in as Guest Editor of the magazine for their October issue where I bring focus to a treasured topic/show/film series related to the autumnal season. ReMIND offers fresh takes on popular entertainment from days gone by. Each issue has dozens of brain-teasing puzzles, trivia quizzes, classic comics and monthly themed features from the 1950s-1990s! ReMIND is published monthly and has a great vintage rag feel and look that offers hours of entertainment with puzzles and features that look back at the entertainment we adore.
