The fall is always a busy time for me and for Reverend Entertainment, and this year has been no exception. In the last few weeks a number of movie releases have landed, including THE WOLFMAN 4k (Shout), BREAKDOWN 4k (Paramount), THE BLOB 4k steelbook (Shout), THE STEPFATHER 4k (Shout), and RED EYE 4k (Paramount). In the print realm I have part one of my NIGHT OF THE DEMONS film series retrospective in the latest Scream magazine (on all newsstands now), am in the October issue of Rue Morgue, and have my monthly column “Roadside Memories” in TVGuide’s ReMind magazine as well. Beyond all that, I have been having a blast joining a number of podcasts on recent episodes including The Brandon Peters Show, Fun With Horror, Vierhalter Studios, and I am a guest co-host on the entire run of Get Me Another’s “Get Me Another Fritday the 13th” series where on each episode we examine movies that followed in the wake, and tried to repliate the success of, FRIDAY THE 13TH. I also want to give a warm thank you to everyone behind the tremendous Halloweenapalooza convention in Ottumwa, Iowa that I was part of on October 11th and 12th. Mike Saunders, Jason Bolinger, and their crew always make this event a dream, and this year was extra special as I got the opportunity to road test a workshop/presentation about my work and the world of documentary filmmaking, which was an incredible experience. More news on that front soon!
